TETRA Coil is the new cost-effective dry type reactor. The design consists of a number of D-shaped windings connected in series. Each winding is molded in cast resin which gives an isolation to ground that results in personal safety.

The design can be used both in substations and in the power grid. The overall design gives you a number of features like Cos-fi controlled function, controlled reactive range and reduced sound levels.

The TETRA Coil system can be placed inline, in a triangle or stacked depending on the area available for use.

The magnetic field outside the reactor is very low. The magnetic field is kept within the construction itself. This can be seen in the picture TETRA Coil top view.
